Who This Policy Covers

Frequent Perks provides digital loyalty programs to local businesses ("Clients"). This policy covers two groups of people:

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you request information, sign up for the Services, create or manage an account, pay for the Services, or contact us for support. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, and anything else you choose to share with us.

Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card or bank account numbers. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including:

Information From Other Sources

If you sign in using a Google account where that option is offered, Google may share basic profile information with us, such as your name and email address, according to your Google account settings and Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can control what Google shares in your Google account settings.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

We may also share information that has been combined or de-identified so it cannot reasonably identify you.

Loyalty Program Members

When you join a Client's loyalty program, the Client decides what information is collected. This may include your name, phone number, email address, birthday, and visit, points, or reward history. We process this information on behalf of that Client only to run their loyalty program and support their use of the Platform, and we do not use it to market our own services to you. The Client's own privacy practices apply to how they use your information.

If you want to see, correct, or delete your loyalty program information, or stop receiving messages from a business, please contact that business directly. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request to the business and help them respond. You can also remove a loyalty card from your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet at any time.

We keep Member information for as long as the Client uses our Services and as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When a Client's subscription ends, we will provide that Client with a copy of their customer list upon request.

Advertising and Analytics

We may use advertising and analytics partners, such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Microsoft (Bing), and LinkedIn, to understand how the Website is used and to show our ads to businesses that may be interested in our Services. These partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser, pages viewed, links clicked, and whether you signed up. You can limit interest-based advertising through your browser settings, your device settings, or tools such as https://optout.aboutads.info. We do not use loyalty program Member information for our own advertising.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our service providers use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the Services secure, and understand how the Website is used. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can usually set your browser to block or delete them. If you do, some parts of the Services may not work properly.

Marketing Emails

We may send you emails about our products and services where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or by emailing [email protected]. Even if you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing messages about your account or our business relationship.

Security

We take reasonable physical, technical, and administrative steps to protect personal information. However, no method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep Client and Website information for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed for legitimate business purposes, such as tax and accounting records, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. If you ask us not to contact you, we may keep a record of that request so we can respect it.

Children

The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Location of Processing

Frequent Perks is based in the United States, and the Services are intended for businesses in the United States. Information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live.

Your Choices and Rights

Clients can view and update their account information by signing in or by emailing [email protected]. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep certain information when needed to meet legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them as required.

If your request is about loyalty program information held for one of our Clients, please include the name of that business so we can forward it.
